Q12. Mr. Bruce-Gardyne

asked the Prime Minister if he will ensure that the contracts of the Chairman and members of the Commission for Industry and Manpower do not entitle them to compensation from public funds in the event of either their individual employment being terminated, or the Commission for Industry and Manpower itself being wound up, by the next Government.

The Prime Minister

The terms of appointments to the Commission for Industry and Manpower will be a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity.
