Mr. Pavittasked the Prime Minister if he will recommend the appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into the methods of distribution of medicines for the National Health Service in the light of the recent re-organisation which has taken place in Sweden, details of which have been sent to him.
§ The Prime MinisterI have noted with interest the developments in Sweden to which my hon. Friend refers, but the position there is very different from that in this country and I do not think such an inquiry would be fruitful.
