HC Deb 05 February 1970 vol 795 c197W
Mr. Jopling

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many medically qualified doctors are employed at the Westmorland County Hospital at Kendal; and on what occasions, and for how long, during the last year, none of them has been available for duty.

Dr. John Dunwoody

Five full time; there are also regular visits by consultants in the major specialties. I am informed that there were no occasions in 1969 when none of the staff was available for duty.
