§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress has been made towards the provision of a permanent landing strip on the Island of Barra.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellPlans have been prepared for an airstrip on Barra which would cost about £80,000 if carried out by the Army under their programme of military aid to the community. The cost would fall on Inverness County Council and the Highlands and Islands Development Board is considering a request from the Council for financial assistance.
