HC Deb 27 April 1970 vol 800 c245W
Mr. O'Halloran

asked the Minister of Transport what was the new capital investment in transport in Greater London in 1968–69; and how it was financed.

Mr. Bob Brown:

Capital investment in public transport during the financial year 1968–69 was about £45 million. It was financed by the nationalised industries concerned from their internal resources, by Government grants and by borrowing from the National Loans Fund.
