§ Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he has completed his consultations with local authorities regarding the total of local authority mortgages to be authorised for 1970–71; and if he will now announce what is the total sum for Scotland.
§ Mr. Ross:I have asked local authorities which wish to take advantage of 47W the additional money now available to let me know their requirements by 30th April, and I shall not determine the total sum until I have this information.
