Public expenditure on roads in the United Kingdom, expressed as a percentage proportion of the size of the gross national product at factor cost, was 1.0 per cent. in 1960, 1.4 per cent. in 1964 and 1.6 per cent. in 1967. The corresponding percentage for 1968 is not yet available.
