asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the percentage proportion of the national revenue obtained from motoring taxes in 1960, 1964, 1967 and 1968.

The percentages in 1960, 1964 and 1967 were 12.4, 12.8 and 13.2, respectively. A figure for 1968 is not yet available.
