HC Deb 12 June 1969 vol 784 c293W
59. Sir C. Osborne

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what action she proposes to take to settle the labour disputes which have caused the closure of Mark Brown's Wharf, at London Bridge, details of which have been sent to her by the hon. Member for Louth, and which have delayed shipments of exports to Poland since 22nd April.

Mr. Hattersley

I understand that normal working was resumed at the Hay's Wharf company's remaining wharves on 10th June. This clears the way for productivity negotiations within the Company as part of the second stage of the Devlin modernisation programme in the port.
