§ 60. Mr. Ashtonasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity if she is aware that the men who appeared in a programme of Yorkshire Television entitled "Calendar", on Thursday, 5th June, were claiming unemployment benefit while working on the basis of labour-only sub-contractors, as they agreed in the course of the programme; what action she will take 294W against these men; and whether she will make a statement.
§ Mr. FernyhoughI am pursuing further the inquiries which have so far failed to reveal the identity of these persons. If we can get their names, and their statements prove to be true, appropriate action will be taken.
