§ Mr. Elystan MorganThe establishment of the specialist squad at New Scotland Yard is as follows:
- 1 Detective Chief Superintendent.
- 2 Detective Chief Inspectors.
- 1 Detective Inspector.
- 2 Detective Sergeants (1st Class).
- 8 Detective Sergeants (2nd Class).
- 6 Detective Constables.
All the posts are filled. Two of the officers of the squad are temporarily on other duties but one additional officer is primarily engaged on the work of the squad. The majority of drug offences are dealt with by officers in divisions, not by the squad at New Scotland Yard.
