Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the Minister of Transport what replies he has made, and what action he is taking, on the representations he has received regarding the section of the M11 motorway linking the A406 interchange with the proposed motorway box at Hackney, for which no proposals have yet been published and which will involve taking the line through or near the densely populated area of Wanstead.
Mr. Bob BrownRepresentations about the proposed extension of M11 from South Woodford to Hackney Wick, possibilities for which are still under investigation, will be taken into account in forming proposals. In accordance with normal practice the relevant local authorities will be consulted before publication—probably in 1970.
