HC Deb 04 December 1969 vol 792 c337W
Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity what proportion of the recipients to date of payments under the Redundancy Payments Act is known to have been unemployed one week after the termination of their previous employment, and how many after one month.

Mr. Dell

The precise information asked for is not available, but 54 per cent. of a sample of recipients recently interviewed had not started work two weeks, and 40 per cent. a month after the end of the previous job.
