HC Deb 04 December 1969 vol 792 c348W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will seek to arrange for an officer of the Metropolitan Police to visit Australia to obtain from Mrs. Biggs, the wife of the train robber, Ronald Biggs, a statement of the names and addresses in her possession of the men and women who received amounts varying from £750 to £20,000 from the proceeds of this robbery, with the object of taking legal proceedings against these persons.

Mr. Elystan Morgan

A Metropolitan officer who is now in Australia will be considering what action is appropriate.
