asked the Minister of Transport what action he proposes to take to prevent the blighting of property in Bebington following the recent published proposals of the Merseyside Land Use and Transportation Study for the eventual building of six-lane crossing of the Mersey to link with the M53.

It is for the local authorities on Merseyside to draw up proposals for implementing the Study and also to deal with blighting of property.
