Dame Joan Vickers

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, in view of Recommendation 179 on political forces in the Western European Union countries and European questions, adopted by the Assembly of Western European Union on 21st February, 1969, he will convene a conference of Heads of Government of all European States members of or willing to join the European Economic Community, with the object of agreeing in principle on the constitution of a European political community.
