Mr. James Davidson

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if the cruisers H.M.S. 'Blake', H.M.S. 'Tiger' and H.M.S. 'Lion' and any of Her Majesty's ships other than aircraft carriers will be capable of operating Harrier aircraft.

The Commando Ships could operate the Harrier. Effective operation would not be possible from other ships.
