§ Mr. George BrownWe have been in contact with the Swiss Government, as with other friendly Governments, on questions of continuing trade with Rhodesia. Switzerland is not however a member of the United Nations and is thus under no obligation to accept mandatory sanctions. The Swiss Government have nevertheless decided to restrict imports from Rhodesia to a level not exceeding the average of the last three years.
