40. Mr. Murton

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what will be the results of limiting total Government spending to an annual increase of 3 per cent. from April, 1968 to 1971, in relation to specific expenditure on housing and environmental services.

62. Mr. Hordern

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer by what proportion he expects domestic public expenditure for 1968–69 to exceed that incurred in the current financial year.

75. Mr. David Howell

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make a statement on the progress of his exercise to bring long-term public expenditure into line with growth prospects up to 1970, as announced in his Budget Statement this year.
