(2) what estimate he has made of the percentage of labour costs in manufacturing industry which are being covered by the Selective Employment Tax premium and the regional employment premium in the development areas.
§ Mr. DiamondOn the latest available figures the additional element in the selective employment premium is roughly 1½ per cent. of labour costs in manufacturing. In development areas R.E.P. represents roughly a further 7½ per cent.
