HC Deb 14 February 1967 vol 741 cc48-9W
Sir G. Wills

asked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Affairs whether, in view of the fact that the United Kingdom has recently signed an agreement for aid to Zambia amounting to over £13 million, he will take steps to see that the restrictions upon the amount of money to be transmitted to this country by British people living in Zambia will be relaxed.

Mr. George Thomas

Zambian Exchange Control Regulations are a matter for the Zambian Government. I am unaware of cases of hardship affecting British nationals which could justify representations to the Zambian authorities.
