§ Mr. Peter Walkerasked the Minister of Transport what estimate she has made of the increased cost to the road building programme of the proposed tax on lorries of three tons or more, which carry road building materials and equipment.
§ Mrs. Castle:I do not expect the new road haulage charge to have any significant effect on the costs of the road programme.
