asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will make a statement on the number of Commonwealth immigrants entering this country from East Africa.

Mr. Ennuls:

I assume the hon. Member is referring to citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies resident in East Africa who hold passports issued by the Government of the United Kingdom. Up to the end of November 11,630 had arrived this year.
