HC Deb 09 February 1966 vol 724 cc104-5W
Mr. Hector Hughes

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state his plans for the accommodation and education of pupils in Scotland when the school leaving age is raised to 16 years in 1970.

Mr. Ross

Education authorities are now developing a wide range of vocation-centred and other courses suitable for the pupils concerned, with the help of my Department. On other aspects I would refer to my reply of 2nd February to my hon. Friend the Member for Fife, West (Mr. William Hamilton).
