HC Deb 21 December 1966 vol 738 c312W
60. Mr. James Davidson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his present policy in regard to the conservation of a teacher's salary where the teacher concerned has suffered a reduction of status due to the closure of a rural school and her resultant transfer from the post of headmistress.

Mr. Millan

The Teachers' Salaries (Scotland) Regulations contain provisions to meet a situation of this kind. If the hon. Member has a particular case in mind, my right hon. Friend will be glad to consider it.
