§ 104. Miss Pikeasked the Minister of Transport why the A46 project between Syston and Thrussington, Leicestershire, originally scheduled to start in September, 1965, has been postponed for more than six months.
§ Mr. SwinglerIt was not possible to complete the preparation of tender documents in time for work to begin immediately after the six months deferment period. Complications in confirming the contract caused some further delay. Work began on 20th June.
