§ 101. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Transport whether she is aware of the traffic congestion caused by the Dartford-Purfleet Tunnel; and whether an early start can be made on the north orbital road to relieve this blockage.
§ Mr. SwinglerWe are aware that traffic using the Dartford-Purfleet Tunnel contributes to congestion on Al3 through Dagenham.
Results of detailed studies now in progress will help to decide the best measures to give a better flow of traffic. Present evidence does not justify high priority for the section of the North Orbital Road between A13 and A12.
