§ Dr. Broughtonasked the Minister of Transport what progress is being made in the construction of the M.1 motorway in the West Riding of Yorkshire; and when he expects this portion of the motorway to be opened.
§ Mr. Tom FraserWork is under way on four contracts, including the Tinsley Viaduct. Land acquisition is proceeding for the remaining four contracts on which we hope to start work by next summer. Each section will be brought into use as soon as it is ready. The whole motorway should be open by autumn 1968.
