§ Mr. Tom FraserI will consider the need for traffic signals at this junction after we know the effectiveness of the waiting lanes now being constructed. The scheme for a flyover has not yet been included in my trunk road programme but its claims are now being studied with those of many other urgent schemes. I hope to make an announcement by the end of the year. In the meantime, work on the preparation of a Side Roads Order under Section 9 of the Highways Act is in progress.
