§ 31. Mr. F. M. Bennettasked the Secretary for Technical Co-operation how many overseas students were in full-time education in Great Britain in 1950 and in 1963; and, of these students, how many were from the developing countries.
§ Mr. R. CarrIn 1950 there were approximately 12,500 overseas students in full-time education in Britain. I regret that it is not possible to state how many came from the developing countries. In 1963 there were 64,320 students of whom 50,100 were from the developing countries.
