102W
§ Mr. R. CarrAt that time, there were about 2,600 teachers serving in developing countries who had been appointed under the auspices of Her Majesty's Government. I do not know the numbers serving under other auspices.
During 1963, just over 1,300 teachers were appointed under the auspices of Her Majesty's Government, and we know of over 400 sent out by other bodies. In addition an unknown number will have been recruited direct by some of the developing countries.
