Whether figures for the constituent parts of the Metropolitan police district should be available in future will no doubt be among the questions considered by the Departmental Committee, under the chairmanship of Mr. Wilfred Perks, that is considering the arrangements for the collection and presentation of criminal statistics.

§ Miss PikeFigures are available only for indictable offences and certain non-indictable offences. For these offences 7,916 persons under 17 were arrested in the Metropolitan Police District during the six months to the end of September last.
