HC Deb 20 November 1963 vol 684 cc107-8W
Sir Knox Cunningham

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what progress is being made with the A26 at the civil airport at Aldergrove, County Antrim; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Brooke

Progress with the consideration of my order prescribing a road in substitution for the A26 road which ran through the airfield must await the outcome of discussions between objectors to the route and the Northern Ireland authorities. Part of the substitute road is being provided by an approach road which the Northern Ireland authorities are constructing, and which I am informed they hope to finish next summer.
