Mrs. Hartasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science if he will review the regulations governing the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research post-graduate studentships, with particular reference to the need for the payment of marriage allowances to students below the age of 25 years.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe present regulations governing Department of Scientific and Industrial Research studentships are the result of changes made last October after a thorough review. The D.S.I.R. also keeps these regulations under constant review in the light of changing conditions.
