§ 60. Mr. Boydenasked the Minister of Transport what studies his department has made of the public travel-to-work facilities available to workpeople living in South-West and West Durham who, because of Command Paper No. 2206, will be required to travel to East Durham or Teeside to work.
§ Mr. MarplesMy Department was closely associated with the preparation of the proposals for the North East. I am satisfied that public transport will be able to meet any new needs for travel to work which may develop.
