§ Mr. MarplesI decided more than two years ago that a review of speed limits on roads was necessary. Since then speed limits on trunk roads have been brought up to date, as hon. Members may see from my annual report on roads in England and Wales. A good deal of progress has been made with other roads, but some local authorities have still to complete their review.
