asked the Minister of Transport what is his policy regarding the use of the monorail in this country.

Mr. Marples

There can be no useful conclusions about monorails with- out detailed evidence of the potentialities. I have not so far received proposals in sufficient detail to justify a study of the specific possibilities of this form of transport.
