§ 53. Sir M. Lindsayasked the Lord Privy Seal why his Department has not replied to the letters of Messrs. Sydney Mitchell, Chattock and Halton, of Birmingham, dated 31st August, 7th November, 20th December, 1961, and 7th February, 1962, in respect of the late Mr. A. N. Lawrenson.
§ Mr. HeathI deeply deplore the delay in answering these letters, which was inexcusable. Disciplinary action is being taken in the case of the official concerned. A reply has now been dispatched and I hope that Messrs. Sydney Mitchell, Chattock and Halton will accept the full apology offered to them.
