§ Mr. HareOn 12th November, 1962, there were 2,119 men registered as unemployed at Gateshead and Felling Employment Exchanges and 59 unfilled vacancies. In September, 1962, the latest date for which an analysis of vacancies by occupation is available, there were five vacancies for men in labouring, and 37 in other categories. There are about 900 jobs in prospect for males in the area, but I regret that I 119W cannot say how many are for skilled or unskilled workers.
