§ 53. Mr. A. Robertsasked the Minister of Transport what progress has been made in the preparatory work to enable an early start in 1964 on the construction of the Sheffield-Leeds motorway.
§ Mr. HayWe are considering the objections received to the draft Scheme for this Motorway. They include a statutory objection lodged by Sheffield City Council. I am not therefore in a position to make forecasts about future progress at present.
