§ 56. Mr. Goodhewasked the Minister of Transport when he will implement the proposed increase from 30 miles-per-hour to 40 miles-per-hour in the speed limit for omnibuses and coaches.
§ Mr. HayWe are about to lay before the House Regulations amending the First Schedule to the Road Traffic Act, 1960, by increasing the speed limit for large passenger vehicles to 40 m.p.h. outside built-up areas. The Regulations will come into effect once they have been approved by both Houses of Parliament.
