§ Mr. R. A. ButlerThe Act has been extended to the Isle of Man, with exceptions, adaptations and modifications, by the Merchant Shipping (Liability of Shipowners and Others) Act, 1958 (Isle of Man) Order, 1960, which was laid before Parliament on 9th August and came into operation on 15th August, 1960. The authorities in Jersey and Guernsey have agreed to the making of similar Orders in Council for their territories, and I am in consultation with them about the terms of these Orders.
