HC Deb 17 November 1960 vol 630 c56W
53. Mr. Janner

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he proposes to take on the Ingleby Report on Children and Young Persons.

Mr. Vosper

The Criminal Justice Bill deals with a considerable number of those recommendations of the Ingleby Committee which are within the scope of the Bill and which the Government are ready to accept. My right hon. Friend is considering, in consultation with the organisations principally concerned, what action should be taken on the remainder.
