Mr. Morrisasked the Minister of Health the number of patients in St. Lawrence Hospital, Chepstow, whose home is either in Port Talbot, or west of Port Talbot; and what arrangements are made for giving financial assistance in needy cases to their near relatives to assist them to travel to Chepstow.
§ Miss PittOn 17th June, 21 of the 149 patients in this hospital came from Port Talbot and the West; help with the cost of fares can be given in cases of need from the Hospital Samaritan Fund, the National Assistance Board or the Local Health Authority.
§ Mr. G. Thomasasked the Minister of Health the number of miners and steelworkers, respectively, who are patients in St. Lawrence Hospital, Chepstow.
