asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will make a statement on the working of the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Act. 1926.

Mr. Hare

I cannot usefully consider whether to review the provisions of the Act until I have the outcome of scientific inquiries into additives to animal feeding-stuffs such as antibiotics and synthetic oestrogens. But I propose very shortly to improve the Regulations made under the Act as a result of recommendations from the Standing Advisory Committee which advises me in regard to this matter.
