§ 67. Mr. Willeyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many grants have been approved in respect of improvements under the Agriculture Act, 1957; at what estimated cost; and how many applications have been received.
§ Mr. HareUp to the end of May, 1960, 102,328 applications had been received in England and Wales. Of these, 67,333 had been formally approved at a total estimated cost of just over £48 million. A further 5,551 applications had been approved in principle.
