Civil defence authorities are provided with radiac instruments suitable for training purposes. As this year's White Paper on the Progress of the Five-Year Defence Plan (Cmnd. 662) indicates, the Government are continuing to acquire stocks of operational instruments for civil defence use in the event of hostilities.
