§ 74. Mr. Zilliacusasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will reconsider his Department's refusal to erect, "Halt—Major Road Ahead" signs at the junction of Lumb Lane with Manchester Road and Audenshaw Road, respectively, in view of the increase in the volume and speed of traffic since Lumb Lane became a classified road last April and the apprehension felt by Audenshaw Urban District Council and local residents about the danger of accidents unless this precaution is taken.
