§ Mr. MarplesThe Motorway part of the Highway Code calls on the driver to make sure that his vehicle is in good condition and to drive at a steady cruising speed comfortably within the capacity of his vehicle. I do not feel that any further detailed advice from me of the kind suggested by my hon. Friend164W ought to be required, but I will reconsider the point when we have accumulated more experience of conditions on M.1.
