asked the Minister of Labour on what date Marty Wilde, a professional singer, was called up for his pre-service medical examination; what medical grading he was given; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. lain Macleod

This man was summoned to a National Service Medical Board on 3rd February, 1959. He was referred to a consultant and the Board subsequently placed him in Grade III. He will, accordingly, not be called up.
